2025 Apple TV Idents

For Apple TV’s new colourful idents, we worked alongside the production using Bolt Jr Plus to help shape a very hands on, in camera approach.

The setup centred around layered sheets of glass and carefully shaped light, with the robot’s movement providing the structure for each pass. Being able to repeat and refine the move allowed the team to build the effect gradually, aligning camera, light and timing to create that slow, hypnotic swirl of colour.

Lighting was mounted directly to the arm, giving precise control over reflections and refractions as the move played out. This made it possible to sculpt the transition in real time, drawing on Apple’s original rainbow palette before settling into the clean white logo we know today.
