We travelled to Ireland with our BOLT-X robotic arm to work alongside the team at Rubber Duck and bring this project to life.

With a tight production schedule, preparation was key. Using the set dimensions and reference footage of the planned camera moves, we built a 3D environment to visualise the move in advance and determine the correct rail placement for the BOLT-X. Simulating the move beforehand let us optimise rail positioning and identify any red flags before arriving on set.

Although pre-production was completed ahead of the shoot, the move itself was programmed on the day. Using the pre-planned rail positions and the insights gained from the 3D environment, this helped us execute the required shots and stay within the project’s tight deadline.
