Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Opening Credits

MrMoco Rentals was tasked with creating the title sequence for Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, the long-awaited sequel over three decades in the making. To bring the vision to life, we teamed up with VFX Producer Alex Bicknell, VFX Supervisor Angus Bickerton, and the talented pre-vis team at PROOF.

The process began with a 1/85 scale set, scanned and imported into 3D for precise camera planning. Using the PROOF team’s pre-visualised data, we integrated these movements seamlessly into our MILO motion control rig during pre-production, ensuring every shot was mapped out and ready to execute upon arrival.

On set, we calibrated and aligned the MILO system, refining the moves with the live-action team. The result was a breathtaking journey through the miniature town, with dynamic twists and turns that made for an unforgettable opening sequence—truly worth the 36 year wait.
