MrMoco found themselves for a second time shooting at Espanyol Stadium for Sky’s latest Premier League advertising campaign. Produced by Outsider and directed by Scott Lyon it shows Thierry Henry going back in time to prove that the Premier League really is the best league in the world.
In a very technical shoot the original footage was tracked and certain shots given to the moco crew as Maya camera moves which were then imported into the Milo motion control rig. Henry was then filmed under the same conditions and lighting, at the right time of day, to match up the new and old footage. To get the authentic look it also included matching advertising hoarding, match balls and even building sets such as the tunnel where he listens in on Roy Keane’s argument.
The result was a hugely successful piece of advertising which we were very happy to play a part in.
